This case study presents "Kelvin News": a project to encourage and support taught postgraduate (PGT) students in the School of Physics & Astronomy at University Glasgow communicating their passion for during studies. The context, rationale, practical implementation are described. We also discuss successes challenges developing project. identify conflicting demands on time experienced by PGT as being key factor negatively affecting Other limiting factors such weak writing skills among participating can be addressed peer-support within team. Despite these difficulties, this provides great opportunities develop further transferable which have potential benefit them terms academic progression, employability, social well-being, relationship with subject department. is well suited use other disciplines departments or universities.
